Jason Bateman on the Return of Arrested Development: “All Systems Are Go,” Filming Starts in Four Weeks
When it comes to anything surrounding the reboot of the dearly beloved comedy Arrested Development, we’re all ears!
Star Jason Bateman (who plays Michael Bluth, the only seemingly sane member of the Bluth family) recently tweeted a picture of himself with series creator Mitchell Hurwitz and executive producer Ron Howard with the heartening message, “Taken at AD mission control, today! All systems are go. Filming for the new episodes starts in four weeks. Woo!”
Thanks to a rabid fan base, Arrested Development has been resurrected for a 10-episode arc with the original cast. The new episodes will be available exclusively through Netflix, and the premiere is slated for sometime next year.
With filming set to begin soon, we’re in total suspense as to what the mischievous Bluth family will get up to next.
