The Bachelor

Sean Lowe on Being The Bachelor: “If I Found My Wife, It Would Be Worth It”

At this point, Sean Lowe is probably hearing the question, “Would you ever consider being the next Bachelor?” several times a day.

Emily Maynard still has (at least) one more guy to dump on The Bachelorette Season 8 Finale on July 22, and chances are good that Mr. Runner-Up will also be asked about enlisting for rose duty. But right now it’s Sean’s job to try and find new ways of answering the same question and he’s done it a couple of times in the past few days since his overnight dates elimination.

People talked to Sean at last weekend's “Men Tell All” reunion taping and asked if he would be interested in being the next Bachelor.

“That's a hard question,” Sean told People. “If ABC offered, I would have to think long and hard. It was an emotionally draining experience. Could I go through that again? I could end up heartbroken again. But I'm an open-minded optimist, and I believe the process can work. I fell in love. If I found my wife, it would be worth it.”

On July 12, Sean talked to reporters on a conference call and was asked again about being the next Bachelor.

“Funny you ask that,” Sean answered, laughing,

I've been getting that a lot lately. It would be a difficult decision if they were to ask me only because it was so emotionally taxing and, you know, I don't know if I could go through that again. But on the flip side of the coin, I understand that the process works. I believe in the process, and ultimately if I were to find my wife, it would certainly all be worth it. It's just a little difficult to think about right now. So, I'm not sure, but they'd have to ask first. So, I don't even know if I'm going to have to make that decision.

They haven’t asked him yet? HollywoodLife’s source said he had been approached for the gig and was interested, but not sure. Sean certainly sounds interested but not sure in these interviews so he must be talking to The Powers That Be, right?
