America's Next Top Model

BryanBoy on ANTM Cycle 19: “I Made the Girls Cry”

Make way for a drama queen!

Blogger BryanBoy has joined America's Next Top Model Cycle 19 as a “social media correspondent” for the college-themed season — and we should probably expect him to graduate with a master’s in crying.

Back in June, judge Kelly Cutrone told the New York Observer, “[BryanBoy] cares so much about the contestants, he cries whenever someone is booted off.”

BryanBoy shared more tear talk with Fashionista, telling them life on the ANTM panel ain’t easy.

“We would tape for five hours and I remember for the first five episodes you’ll see me very, very quiet, thinking about what I should say, but in the end I was like, you know, I’m just going to show the real me. I threw paper at a girl, I made the girls cry, I cried.”

So he’ll have a slow start but leave us all crying .. for more? The blogger seems to just now be adjusting to life in front of the cameras. “On my blog I only share what I feel like sharing whereas on television you’re really a public figure,” he said. “And when Top Model approached me in May, it wasn’t until the very last minute that I actually said yes. When [Fashionista] asked me about it they hadn’t even approached me but I guess I was on their radar already? So I thought why not give it a shot. It’s a contract for one season.”

We’ll have to see if we like him enough to want him to come back for Cycle 20. If we love him, that probably means he’ll be canned for sure. (Like Nigel and the Jays!) If you want more from BryanBoy, check him out in this Dolce & Gabbana video.

Catch the premiere of America's Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition on Friday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
