Grey's Anatomy

Did Grey’s Anatomy Get Unfairly Snubbed Out of 2012 Emmy Nomination?

The 2012 Emmy nominations were announced this morning and, sadly, Grey's Anatomy didn’t get a lot of love.

The hit ABC show used to be an Emmys darling, but it didn’t nab any major nominations this year, save Loretta Devine (Adele) getting nominated for Outstand Guest Actress the second year in a row. (She won the Emmy last year as well.)

It isn’t that Loretta doesn’t deserve her Emmy nomination, but we just wonder if the other Grey’s actors could have gotten some love too. Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) and Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) gave gripping performances this season as they portrayed two people whose marriage was falling apart. Chyler Leigh (Lexie Grey) also missed out on getting a nomination for her final season on the show.

So, do you think Grey’s was snubbed? Vote below.

Miss Grey’s? Us too. Luckily the show will return to Thursdays at 9 p.m. with all-new episodes in the fall on ABC.
