Tia and Tamera Mowry Claim They Could Kick Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s Butts: 3 Reasons We Totally Disagree
In a recent interview with CNN, Tia and Tamera Mowry made complete fools of themselves. No, they didn’t ramble on about pregnancy or marriage — which lately seems to be their only topic of conversation — but they did claim that when paired against fellow twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the Sister, Sister stars would come out victorious.
“I mean ... look at us!” gushed Tamera.
Tia, who recently released the book Oh, Baby!: Pregnancy Tales and Advice from One Hot Mama to Another, continued, saying, “When I was trying to lose my [baby] weight, we said, ‘Oh, you lost an Olsen twin!’”
These twisted sisters went on to claim they “love” the Olsen twins, but we have our doubts.
Here at Wetpaint Entertainment, we don’t take their claims lightly, and we’ve compiled a well-researched list on why the Olsens would, in fact, hold their own in this twin battle.
1) The Olsens Grew Up Fighting Crime
We’re not sure if Tia and Tamera grew up watching The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley, but we sure did. These “Trenchcoat Twins” were able to “solve any crime by dinner time,” and with their impressive detective skills, there’s no doubt these ladies know how to cover their tracks.
2) The Olsens Are Much More Cultured
While Tia and Tamera were busy hanging out in Detroit doing sister things, MK & A were traveling the globe. They remembered to bring their passports to Paris, kept their lips sealed in Australia, won in London, had a holiday in the sunny Bahamas and when in Rome they met cute boys!
3) The Olsens Are Far More Successful
The Mowrys have created their brand solely by exploiting their twin status. With films like Twitches, Twitches Too, and Double Wedding, their name is only associated with the fact that they are identical twins.
Mary-Kate and Ashley started their careers tag-teaming the role as Michelle Tanner on Full House and have created their empire as a joint effort of equal talent. They are successful clothing designers of the high-fashion line The Row, and co-presidents of the entertainment company Dualstar.
Also, they tend to wear oversized clothes on their small frames — all the better for storing a complete arsenal capable of a major ass kicking, so watch your backs Mowry sisters!
