True Blood

True Blood Burning Question: Is Roman Really Dead?

Remember when Roman's adorable Nike polo shirt was ruined thanks to Russell Edgington jamming a stake into his heart? Sad face, y'all. Roman was a great addition to True Blood's cast — but wait … is he actually dead?

Alan Ball and his crafty minions have fooled us before (cough, Tara, cough), and we didn't actually see Roman explode into goo. Sure, his face turned all kinds of weird colors, and he looked slightly deformed, but there definitely wasn't a goosplosion.

Of course, it's possible that Roman's age caused him to meet the True Death in a more complicated fashion (similar to how Godric evaporated in the sun instead of sizzling), but we have a feeling there's more to this staking than meets the eye.

Alan Ball has been bringing people back from the dead all over the place — and why did he choose to end the episode before Roman's splatter hit the ceiling?

Something is definitely afoot, truebies.
