Real Housewives’ Taylor Armstrong Opens Up About Domestic Abuse and Whether She’s Ready to Date Again
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has been appointed as a spokeswoman for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. By helping others break free of unhealthy relationships, she seems to have been able to come to peace with her past: Taylor alleges that her husband, Russell, physically abused her before his 2011 suicide.
According toHuffington Post, Taylor has said, "Statistically, my life could have ended in a murder suicide. I feel my life was spared and I want to use it for the greater good … I didn’t get here by choice — I got here by circumstance. I’m doing much better."
Working for the NCADV is all part of Taylor’s new commitment to be “healthy, mentally and physically” for her young daughter, Kennedy. Though Taylor’s not dating anyone, she thinks the time may come soon. “I am actually feeling like it's time for me to get back out there and find happiness. I want my little girl to see what a healthy relationship looks like,” says Taylor.
