Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Lawrence, Joseph Gordon-Levitt Heading to Toronto Film Festival
Film festival season is almost upon us! We just have to swelter through August, then the 2012 Toronto Film Festival will kick OscarWatch into high gear.
It sounds like this year's TIFF crop is impressive and star-studded. The festival runs from September 6-16 and it was announced Tuesday that stars including Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Lawrence, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Bradley Cooper will be attending to promote their new films.
According to Celebuzz, Ryan's movie with girlfriend Eva Mendes, The Place Beyond the Pines, will make its world premiere in Toronto. Jennifer and Bradley will be promoting their film Silver Linings Playbook.
Opening the festival will be Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt.
JGL re-tweeted a note from @Loopermovie: "We are thrilled, honored and a little terrified to be the opening night film at this year's Toronto Film Festival.
According to E!, TIFF 2012 will include 17 galas, 38 world premieres and 45 special presentations. Check out the full lineup at the official site.
