Maksim Chmerkovskiy: DWTS All-Stars Will Have New Pros to Replace Old Pros
Maksim Chmerkovskiy still doesn't know with whom he’ll be paired for Dancing With the Stars All-Stars Season 15. He'll unwrap that present on July 27 — and hopefully fans will also learn of the star/pro partnerships at the same time, instead of just hearing about the celeb cast.
“I can’t wait to see who I’m going to get," Maks told Celebuzz. "I’m going to have a great time… This is going to be the first time we don’t start from scratch but pick it up where you left off.”
That's assuming he's paired with one of his own past celebrity partners — and chances are that's the case since he has so many good options to choose from. (Mel B, Erin Andrews, Brandy or Kirstie Alley? Who do you think? We’ll guess Mel B.)
It sounds like not all of the past pros will be returning to dance with their former partners, which was expected since some pros — like married couple Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo and new movie star Julianne Hough — don't seem to be returning anytime soon.
“We have some new pros, [as] some old pros won’t be coming back,” Maks told Celebuzz.
Maks thinks any recent couple would have an advantage, which only makes sense since the contestants from early seasons might be rusty. Unless they’ve been performing in DWTS: Live in Las Vegas. Talkin’ about you, Carson Kressley, Sabrina Bryan, Kyle Massey and Joey Fatone!
