New Details on Bachelorette Engagement: How Jef Holm Picked Out the Ring
Jef Holm made millions of ladies green with envy when he presented Emily Maynard with a stunning 3.5-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, surrounded by 87 smaller round-cut diamonds. Basically, we died and went to heaven, only to resurrect and swoon all over ourselves.
If you think celebrity designer, Neil Lane, picked out Emily's ring, think again! Jef was hugely involved in the process, down to the tiniest detail. "As soon as Jef saw the ring, he knew it was the right one,” Neil explains to People. “He really understood her style. She’s very sophisticated, very beautiful, elegant and classic and the emerald-cut diamond has those elements. She exudes grace and style, with an elegance that reminded me of high society of the 1920s when that stone was very fashionable.”
Jef put a lot of thought in choosing the perfect ring, and initially considered a pink gold ring because “he knew she liked pink.” Awww, Jef! So thoughtful and handsome.
“Jef really put a lot of energy into it and he was very sincere and excited during the whole process,” Neil says. “The guy was smitten and really in love. He was very sweet about the whole thing. I felt he was very genuine and was really looking forward to this journey with Emily. I’m so happy for them!”
