As you may already know, Rupert directed Kristen in Snow White and the Huntsman, which was his feature film debut. Previous to nabbing the high-profile gig, he shot commercials for big brands like Nike, Xbox, and Adidas. His top-notch work helped him get noticed in L.A., where the 41-year-old director eventually moved with Liberty and their two children, Skyla and Tennyson (7 and 5 years old, respectively).
A former model who’s appeared in Vogue and donned the clothes of mammoth designers like Christian Dior and Burberry, Liberty was a student at London’s Queen’s College when she met her future husband, then a friend of her brother Milo. The pair later married when she was 24 years old and Rupert was 31.
Now 33, Liberty continues to model and has gotten into acting over the past couple of years. She appeared in Madonna’s film W.E., and also played Queen Eleanor, the mother of Kristen’s Snow White (awkward!) in her husband’s film. But Liberty’s not the only one in her family involved in the Hollywood biz; brother Atticus Ross won an Academy Award last year for working with Trent Reznor on the score for The Social Network.
While Liberty has yet to officially comment on her husband’s affair, she bluntly tweeted, “Wow” yesterday before deleting her Twitter account all together.
