Glee Season 4: The New Directions Will Face “A Whole New Set of Problems”

Remember when we all thought that winning Nationals was going to be a good thing for New Directions on Glee? So much for that!

Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schue) tells TV Line that while the glee club has suddenly become the “cool club in school,” this will actually will lead to “a whole new set of problems.” So much for having trouble adding members: Matt says that pretty much the whole freakin’ school wants to join.

But who’s joining for the right reasons? Matthew says that Mr. Schue will have to use some tough love in narrowing down the “people who are passionate about performing.” Sounds like a big job, but we have faith in you, Schue!

And of course, trying to repeat as nationals champions will not be an easy task, and Matthew says that Schue will find be faced with a question he’s never dealt with before: “How do you stay on top?” Schue will also have trouble keeping the students’ “spirits up” as they prepare to start over with so many missing members. Nothing is ever easy for our poor Schue, is it?
