Is Eric and Bill’s True Blood Bromance Over?

True Blood’s Eric and Bill are caught in a bad bromance — but perhaps not for much longer.

Over the past five seasons, the duo has kept it together, in spite of a faerie hot commodity named Sookie Stackhouse and some actual bad blood.

Now that Russell Edgington has come back with a vengeance and taken over The Authority, we hoped that Bill and Eric would team up and clean up the mess.

Instead, Bill is making that mess even bigger.

In the past few episodes, Bill has been cozying up with The Authority — sucking up, if you will — and showing no mercy as he murders dozens of people. Although Eric also participated in the Lilith-blood-fueled attacks, we saw in this week’s sneak peek clip that he is not so keen on the aftermath.

As many Truebies remember, Bill used to go on binge killings and feeds with Lorena, while Eric has always been a gentleman. Though he has had his violent moments, he not only stopped Bill from feeding on Pam’s escorts, but was also unwilling to turn her until he had no other choice, for she would die otherwise.

If Bill was a bloodaholic, he’s relapsing now. And his bro Eric is the only one that can save him.

So now the question is, will Eric be able to stop Bill from turning into a Sanguinista? Or is this the straw that broke the vampire’s back, with their bromance as good as staked? Weigh in below!
