True Blood’s Nelsan Ellis to Play Martin Luther King, Jr. in The Butler

True Blood’s Nelsan Ellis is ditching Lafayette’s doo-rag and suiting up as Martin Luther King, Jr.

Nelsan joins an all-star cast in the upcoming film The Butler, which details the life of a White House servant Eugene Allen, who worked for eight First Families, Deadline reports.

Among the many big-name stars are Robin Williams and Melissa Leo (as President and Mamie Eisenhower), James Marsden and Minka Kelly (as JFK and Jackie O), new American Idol judge Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, and Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams.
