Ryan tweeted on July 31 that Glee’s first group number of Season 4 will be Adele’s hit, “Chasing Pavements.” Usually, we’d assume that the New Directions would be singing it, but given that Rachel will be in New York this season —it’s also possible that the Adele tune might be one of NYADA’s first group numbers, instead.Which Glee stars do you hope to see perform the tune? It’s no secret that the Glee stars are huge fans of Adele, so we imagine that getting the chance to perform one of her hits would be at the top of their wish lists.Naya Rivera (Santana), Amber Riley (Mercedes), and the Troubletones already performed an amazing mash-up of “Rumour Has It” and “Someone Like You” in Episode 6 of last season. Then back in Season 2, Lea Michele (Rachel) and Jonathan Groff (Jesse) blew us out of the water with their version of "Rolling in the Deep." Let’s not forget Gwyneth Paltrow’s (Holly) “Turning Tables” from Season 2, either.Now, creator Ryan Murphy has revealed on Twitter that the show has another Adele hit in the works for Season 4 — and it’s going to be the very first group number of the season.
