Liberty Ross Forbids Rupert Sanders From Directing Snow White and the Huntsman 2: Report
Liberty Ross has reportedly decided to forgive her husband, Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, for his “momentary indiscretion” with Kristen Stewart — but not without a few conditions.
The actress has apparently told Rupert to forget about directing Snow White’s sequel if he wants to continue their marriage.
“Liberty let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can’t direct the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman,” an insider told Radar Online. “They are trying to work things out after he was caught having an affair, and that is one of the sticking points. She just doesn’t want him to ever work with Kristen again.”
While Rupert was originally lined up to direct Snow White and Huntsman 2 following the first film’s box office success, the cheating director may need to opt out following his now-public makeout sessions with the film’s young star.
“Rupert is obviously disappointed because Snow White and the Huntsman was his directorial debut, and he had hoped on building on that with a follow-up after some decent reviews,” the source said. “But he knows his actions were inexcusable, and he’s going to have to bite the bullet and listen to his wife on this one."
