Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars’ Keegan Allen: Toby “Might Be Vulnerable” to “A” – Exclusive

Are Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen) dunzo? On last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars (Season 3, Episode 8: “Stolen Kisses”) we saw Spencer and Toby get into a big fight. However, Keegan Allen told Wetpaint Entertainment at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards that the “boys” will play a much larger role in helping the girls with “A”. So, does this mean that Toby and Spencer will make up? We hope so!

Read on to find out Keegan’s thoughts on “A” and much more!

Wetpaint Entertainment: It looks like the guys finally get to step up and do something?
Keegan Allen: Yes. The guys do get to do this. And when they take action it’s going to be mind blowing, the finale. Also up until the finale, Toby goes looking for answers, and he might be vulnerable to “A”.

He’s known about “A” for a while. What makes him more aggressive at this point?
Mainly, I think because he and Spencer are really in love. If you love someone and they keep something from you, it’s really heartbreaking. So he might just go and try to figure it for himself.

The girls have always been hesitant about letting each other know that their significant others are aware of “A”. Will everyone now know that there’s a bigger team working against “A”?
It could be true, and it could not be true. The guys, they’re there for the girls. They’re there to help the girls in any way they seem necessary, but we’ll see what happens. I don’t want to give too much away.

Wouldn’t it be great if next season is just the guys going up against “A”?
Yeah. That would kind of cool.

The Handsome Liars.
To be honest with you, I don’t know if the guys could take the torture that these girls go through on a daily basis with “A”. I know I couldn’t. I wouldn’t be able to deal with it. I would call the police and like hide. I’d move away. Move out of Rosewood.

Anything you can tease about the Halloween episode?
Yes. It’s on a train. Adam Lambert is going to sing. I’m very excited.

Are you a fan?
I really like Adam. He’s got an incredible personality, and a really, really cool voice, and he’s very talented. We’re really lucky to have him on the show.

Is Toby as upstanding as we think he is?
Yes. I can answer that, honestly. Toby is very upstanding. He’s a very cool character.

Have you thought about him having a dark side we’re not aware of?
I have, of course. Everybody’s thought about it. I mean, of course, right? I don’t know how I would react to that as Keegan. I would be interested to see how the fans react to any kind of craziness that goes on.

But you’re not like sitting at home hoping that there’s like a dagger in your shoe?
No. Not at all. He’s the one person in Rosewood that everybody can rely on.

Catch an all-new episode of PLL on Tuesday, August 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
