RHONY’s LuAnn Has Advice for RHOBH’s Adrienne Maloof: “Don’t Fall Into the Drama”

The The Real Housewives of New York stars may not get along with each other most of the time, but they’re always willing to offer advice to Housewives across state lines. Just yesterday (August 1), former RHONY star Jill Zarin announced that she’d seen signs of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof’s separation, and now, LuAnn de Lesseps has some rules for Adrienne to follow.

“Don’t fall into the drama,” LuAnn tells Adrienne on Celebuzz. “Keeping time with your family and husband is precious — not being on your computer or your cell phone, and always remember the things that are sacred.”

Unlike Jill, LuAnn actually has experience with a marriage falling apart on television. After RHONY Season 2, LuAnn divorced her former husband, Count Alex de Lesseps, in 2009. But viewers had already seen the Count and Countess together, including with their two children, for Seasons 1 and 2.

“Don’t let reality TV mess with your family,” continues LuAnn, speaking about Adrienne’s separation from her husband Dr. Paul Nassif. “The priority is always family.”

LuAnn actually did handle her divorce well on-camera, rarely referring to it, and making sure she spent plenty of time with her kids on the following seasons of RHONY. Maybe, just maybe, the Countess knows what she’s talking about.

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
