Should Catelynn Lowell Adopt Her Little Brother Nicholas?
Catelynn Lowell made the brave decision to give her daughter up for adoption, but it looks like she could become a surrogate parent to her little brother, Nicholas!
Nick is just a 6-year-old kiddo, which means he lives at home and witnesses all the drama between his mom, April, and his step dad, Butch. Luckily, Nick was asleep during Butch and April's most recent on-screen fight, and Catelynn assures fans that he's protected from Butch's violent outbursts.
"If I ever felt like he was in trouble or going to be harmed by anything, I would totally step in," Cate revealed during the MTV After Show. "I would take him. I'd get custody of him for sure."
April is definitely the victim in this situation, but she keeps allowing Butch back in her life. We want to think this mulleted criminal would never harm a child, but Butch has a serious drug problem and a history of extreme violence.
If April wants Butch in her house, maybe it's time for Nick to move in with Catelynn — just until April and Butch's relationship becomes more stable.
What do you think, Teen Momers? Should Catelynn adopt her little brother if Butch and April make up?
