Former Hills Star Heidi Montag Says Her Plastic Surgery Could Have Been “Really Disastrous”

After choosing the scummy Spencer Pratt over best friend Lauren Conrad, reality starlet Heidi Montag turned a lot of fans against her.

But she really shocked those across the country in 2010 when she had 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day.

Since The Hills ended in 2009, Heidi has attempted to get back in the spotlight several times by appearing on the reality show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and releasing a book with her hubby called How To Be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture.

But this year, she’s kept a relatively low profile. She attended the baby shower of Hills co-star Kristin Cavallari back in May, but doesn’t quite seem to have the same need for attention as she used to. Thank god.

Heidi recently opened up to Celebuzz about the painful aftermath of her surgeries and getting her life back on track.

“My doctor originally told me it would take two years, so it’s finally settling in now,” Heidi said about her plastic surgery. “It feels really good to be healthy and strong.”

And though Heidi wouldn’t recommend it for other people, she feels fortunate with what she had done.

“I feel really thankful that it all came out so well it could have been really disastrous,” she said.

Now that Ms. Montag is mostly healed, what’s her next movie? A dip in the pool, of course!

“I actually haven’t been in a bikini in about a year, but I’m going to soon and I’m really excited,” she said.

Well, hopefully this girl is getting things back on track. Do you think she’s changed? Tell us below!
