Blake Shelton Releases Christmas Album Cover Art, Title — An In-Depth Analysis (PHOTO)

If there’s one thing The Voice’s token lush knows about, it’s Christmas.

To celebrate, Blake Shelton is releasing his new holiday album, Cheers it’s Christmas, on October 2, 2012.

The album cover features Blake sitting next to a roaring fire and wearing jeans, a plain brown shirt, and what appears to be a pair of his famous cowboy boots.

Unfortunately, someone seems to have left the door open and a large pile of snow has come into Blake’s Oklahoma home to destroy the furniture.

We’re not sure when this photo was taken, but why isn’t Blake wearing a jacket if he’s going to leave his door open? And why are the Christmas presents on his side table rather than under the tree?

We appreciate Blake’s not-so-thinly-veiled reference to holiday “spirits” in the album title, but shouldn’t it read: “Cheers! It’s Christmas”?

It’s all about the punctuation, Blake.

And while we’re on the topic of details, how did Blake get so bronze in the winter? Maybe it’s because this album is coming out in October and the hints of a summer tan are still there, but it looks like The Voice judge has had a few trips to the salon with wife Miranda Lambert.
