Bristol Palin’s DWTS All-Stars Goal Is to “Not Gain Any Weight”

Dancing With the Stars is often good for two things: Career rehab and body slimming.

Sometimes, as with Kelly Osbourne, a celeb gets both at the same time. Bristol Palin didn't get the full positive DWTS treatment back on Season 11 and she told People she didn't notice any changes to her body except for more toned legs. Her goal for All-Stars Season 15 isn't to lose a ton of weight, like Kirstie Alley or Season 13’s Ricki Lake, it’s just to not take a step backward.

"My goal [is] not to gain any weight," Bristol told People. "I think it's hurtful for any girl when someone is criticizing their weight on a national level. It's an awkward position."

Sometimes people do actually gain weight on DWTS — like Maria Menounos and her whopping 6 lbs. — but it's muscle weight that leans and tones the body. But since viewers are so used to seeing major body transformations, Bristol did kind of get the "why isn’t she skinnier?" treatment when she made the Season 11 finals.

Unlike some of the other All-Stars who want to improve their placement from a previous season, the former runner-up doesn't sound that competitive. "If I get voted off Week 1, then I get voted off Week 1. Hopefully I stick in there longer."
