Jennifer Lawrence Could Earn 20 Times More Money For Hunger Games Sequel Catching Fire
Somebody’s not that hungry anymore — except maybe for Benjamins.
Jennifer Lawrence reportedly made $500,000 plus bonuses for The Hunger Games, but The Hollywood Reporter says she's negotiating a big raise for the sequel, Catching Fire.
According to THR: "The actress is in the final stages of negotiating a rich deal to return for Catching Fire that will pay her somewhere in the $10 million range, according to sources close to the deal. The figure is a combination of salary, bonuses and escalators. Depending on the box-office performance of the film, she could earn much more."
Hunger Games co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth also reportedly renegotiated their original contracts, but sources say their raises won't be as high as Jenn's. It’s good to be the Katniss! But this just means her wedding gift for Liam and Miley Cyrus better be dang good.
Catching Fire filming starts next month in Georgia.
