Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Halloween Episode Sneak Peek: Who Wears These Shoes?

If there is one holiday that fits perfectly into the world of Pretty Little Liars, it’s Halloween. Masks, lies and fear … kind of sounds like a regular day in the life of the Liars. But in Season 3, Episode 13: “This Is a Dark Ride,” Halloween is back to haunt the girls from the inside of a moving train.

Here’s what we know about the Halloween episode: It's on a train, Adam Lambert will be there, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen) will have matching costumes, and the episode ends on a rather creepy note.

Now we can add to that list: According to writer/producer Joseph Dougherty, someone will wear these shoes.

At first glance, it doesn’t seem that surprising. The Liars are known to be fashionistas and black pumps are a staple for any young woman’s closet, right? But who says the shoes even belong to a Liar?

Joseph hints that the shoes are the "wrong color" for Aria (Lucy Hale) or Hanna's (Ashley Benson) outfits. Perhaps they’re more fitting for someone a bit darker. Could CeCe (Vanessa Ray) or Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) be joining the festivities on the train in these beauties?

Regardless of who wears them, let’s take a closer look at the shoes themselves. Those are some pretty big heels, and based on the Liars’ track record, they might need to be able to run. Let’s just hope that, if these shoes do belong to any of the core four, she's got a pair of flats stashed away in her designer purse. After all, the episode is titled "This is a Dark Ride."

So how do the shoes fit into the puzzle of Halloween night? Is someone simply wearing a sexy costume, or might the shoes belong to a certain someone who likes to dress in dark colors? Black pumps go perfectly with black leather gloves, wouldn’t you say?

Catch an all-new episode of PLL on Tuesday, August 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
