Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Spoiler: Is Dr. Sullivan Returning?

And the “Mona-Mania!” continues!

We already know a little bit about Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 15: “Mona-Mania!” And the clues just keep rolling in.

Norman Buckley, director of Episode 15, recently tweeted a photo of PLL writer Bryan Holdman and the oh-so-familiar face of Annabeth Gish (Dr. Anne Sullivan) on set. Unless Annabeth was just swinging by to say "hi," this means Dr. Sullivan is back!

Here’s what we know about the good (or not-so-good) doctor: She first appeared in Season 2 as the Liars’ therapist. The girls seriously considered telling her about “A” before “A” beat them to the punch. Mona (Janel Parrish) paid her a visit, threatened her family, and made her skip town. The last time we saw the doc was in the Season 2 finale (Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked”), after Mona was taken into custody.

Could Dr. Sullivan’s experience with Mona be the reason behind her return? What role could she play in all of the "mania"?

Perhaps she's brought in for her expert opinion on Mona. Or maybe she’s not there for Mona at all. Is there someone else that could need Dr. Sullivan’s help? Or could she be in town for more nefarious reasons? Many fans still don't trust Dr. Sullivan, so it's possible her return will mean more trouble for the girls.
