Brides Swear Off Marriage at Kim Kardshian’s Wedding Site — Is It Cursed?
Curse of the Kardashian?
Sure, Kim Kardashian may be unlucky in love (that is before Kimye, of course), but is it really necessary to consider the Montecito, California home where she exchanged vows with now-estranged husband, Kris Humphries, a highway to divorce court?
It sure seems necessary for quite a few brides-to-be. While the gorgeous estate used to be a hotspot for weddings of the rich and fabulous, it’s reportedly hardly been used since Kim said “I do.”
Coincidence? Not according to the estate’s owner, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who is reportedly convinced Kim jinxed his palatial pad.
“Since Kim married Kris at Eric’s Montecito home, no one wants to get married there anymore,” a source told Radar Online. “Before Kim, the home was often used in the summer months as a place where the rich could hold their private weddings — but now couples are shunning the estate because they think the place is jinxed. They saw that Kim’s marriage lasted just 72 days — and they just don’t want the same fate happening to them.”
