Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time Season 2 Spoilers: Why Is Ginnifer Goodwin Filming With Skunks & Bats?

Once Upon a Time can always be counted on for creepy creatures, both human and bestial. Based on a recent tweet from Ginnifer Goodwin (Mary Margaret/Snow White), Season 2 will bring a whole slew of new monsters into the mix.

Late on Friday night (August 10), Ginnifer wrote, “12:39am: Dear Diary, finished lunch & heading back 2 set 4 the 2nd ½ of our filming day. Raccoons, skunks & bats abound.”

First of all, those are some crazy work hours! Then again, Ginnifer gets to spend the majority of her day with boyfriend Josh Dallas (David/Prince Charming), so we suppose it’s tolerable.

But why do you think Snow is surrounded by these typically hostile woodland creatures? Is she back in the Enchanted Forest, where so many of OUAT’s nighttime scenes take place? Or could this have something to do with the night David blacked out in the middle of the forest in Storybrooke towards the end of Season 1?

In any case, at least Ginnifer is feeling lighthearted about the shoot. At the end of her tweet, she wrote “I want chocolate.” Don’t we all?

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
