Will Glee Cover Taylor Swift in Season 4? Ryan Murphy Tweets Love for New Single

We are never ever ever getting tired of Taylor Swift’s newest single. And apparently, neither is Glee creator Ryan Murphy!

This week, T-Swift released “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which is the first single from her forthcoming album Red. The single got off to a killer start becoming the fastest-selling single in digital history! and it has some famous fans to boot.

One such fan is Ryan Murphy, who tweeted on August 14, “Taylor Swift's new single is fantastically catchy. And Taylor-made for GLEE, don't you think, Gleeks?” If you ask us, this is amazing news, as this song would be perfect for the show! Could this hit-in-the-making already be Glee-bound?

Unfortunately, there’s one ominous fact associated with the show covering this song, which is that the song would probably be sung by someone in a newly broken-up couple. For example, if this song is sung by someone in Finchel or Klaine — which are among the couples rumored to maybe go their separate ways this season — we would say to Ryan Murphy, “Why you gotta be so mean?”

However, we’re hoping that the song does make it onto Glee, and that the song is used in a way that isn’t super-depressing. In conclusion, we have one thing to say to Taylor Swift: You belong with Glee.

Hmm, it's not my favorite.

This song is AMAZING.
