Pretty Little Liars Missing Characters Roundup: Which Key Players are Currently MIA?
We’re headed into the final two episodes of Pretty Little LiarsSeason 3’s summer season. And that means it’s time to check in with the many MIA characters in Rosewood. So many familiar faces have disappeared over the last few episodes, and with crazy Paige (Lindsey Shaw) on the horizon, we actually sort of miss them!
Jason DiLaurentis.Jason (Drew Van Acker) may be in a lot of trouble, whenever he resurfaces. After driving himself crazy over former friend Garrett’s trial and apparently paying someone $50,000 for information on Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) grave robbery, Jason drove drunk and wrecked his car. Half-sister Spencer helped him escape, but we don’t know where he went, or how much trouble he’s in. Breaking his sobriety is a big deal in his story, since he’s been on a path of recovery for over a year. What else is he capable of doing while MIA?
Lucas Gottesman.Lucas (Brendan Robinson) was well on his way to crazy the last few times we saw him. Aria (Lucy Hale) found pills in his bag, which may be the same pills used to drug Emily (Shay Mitchell) “that night.” Plus, he was spotted getting something from the photo studio in the middle of “that night,” tying him to Jenna’s (Tammin Sursok) involvement. If he’s part of the “A” team, how has he been acting the part of team player recently?
Toby Cavanaugh. Poor Toby (Keegan Allen). In many ways, his disappearance is the saddest, but we also have the most hope for his return. He left after lying on Spencer’s behalf about Jason’s accident. When she still refused to open up to him about the new “A” team and what she was hiding, he left town … again. Knowing Toby, he’s probably out somewhere tracking down Jason or finding Alison’s body or some other heroic thing. But at least we know he returns in a big way in the summer finale.
Alison’s Body. Where is that body, anyway? In the days that followed Alison’s grave robbery, the Liars kept getting clues and threats from the person or people who did it. And in Season 3, Episode 9: “The Kahn Game,” Jenna seemed to let it slip that she knew the Liars made up a phony story about being at Spencer’s lake house the night it happened. Could Jenna be keeping it somewhere safe, with help from Noel?
