Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Why Did Nate Tell Jenna, “I Know You Saw Me”?

On last night’s Pretty Little Liars (Season 3, Episode 11: “Single Fright Female”), Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) supposed cousin Nate (Sterling Sulieman) was all riled up about several things. He felt rejected by Emily (Shay Mitchell) after their kiss, and he was surprisingly shocked to discover that Jenna (Tammin Sursok) used to fake her blindness. But one comment he made seemed to snap Jenna out of her usually cool demeanor.

After Hanna (Ashley Benson) accidentally told Nate that Jenna was pretending to be blind for a while, he approached her outside of school as she was getting into her car.

“Hey Jenna, don’t pretend you don’t see me, girl! I know you saw me.” Nate looks at her accusingly as her glance suddenly jerks up towards him, and she speeds away.

Did Jenna “see” Nate in the past, when she was still pretending to be blind? Was he lying to Emily when he said he was seeing Jenna for the first time in the beginning of the season? Also, we wonder if Nate has been in Rosewood before Season 3. If so, he could know a lot more about what’s going on with the “A” team than it would initially appear.

Later in the episode, Jenna unexpectedly shows up to Emily’s house at night. Jenna looks terrified as she tells Emily, “Be very careful who you spend time with, Emily. Very. Careful.” Then we see Jenna getting into a cab with a suitcase, as if she’s leaving Rosewood for a long period of time.

The obvious person who Jenna could have been warning Emily about is Paige (Lindsey Shaw), since we learned a lot more about her history with Alison (Sasha Pieterse) in the episode. But why do we have a sneaking suspicion that she was referring to Nate?
