Ramona Singer Was “Scared” by Aviva’s Rant on RHONY: “I Didn’t Know Who She Was”

On The Real Housewives of New York Season 5, Episode 12: "All How You Spin It," Ramona Singer and Aviva Drescher's budding friendship took a major hit when Ramona and Sonja Morgan both missed out on Aviva's charity event, leading to a lecture-turned-screaming-fit from Aviva on their lack of good manners.

It was a startling moment, to say the least. Now, in her blog at Us Weekly, Ramona dishes on what it was like to experience Aviva's outburst firsthand.

First, Ramona reiterates that she "felt terrible" that she had to skip out on the event after a skin procedure left her homebound, because she "did want to attend."

She goes on to dish that "I was quite shocked though how Aviva reacted to Sonja regarding her not attending." She adds that Sonja's dog Millou really is like her "first child," saying, "Aviva would never leave her sick child, so why would she expect Sonja to leave her sick dog?"

"Aviva actually scared me with her outburst," Ramona says. "I didn't know who she was at that moment. I had never seen her like that up to this point."

What do you think: Was Aviva's reaction over the top, or was she right to be pissed that her friends missed out on her event?

The Real Housewives of New York airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
