Who Will Be Bachelor 2013? Bachelor Nation Weighs in on Sean, Arie, and Roberto
Ryan Lochte aside (far, far off to the side), strong fan support and equally strong rumors lead us to believe we’re down to three main Bachelor Nation alumni as candidates for the Season 17 Bachelor: Kissmaster Arie Luyendyk, Jr.; Genetic Gift Sean Lowe and Hottie Dimples Roberto Martinez.
We know where we stand, you probably know where you stand, — but where does Bachelor Nation stand? Rosemaster Chris Harrison said the big decision is coming soon but, in the meantime, here’s just a sampling of support out there for all three guys.
Ashley Hebert for Sean ... then Arie In her blog on The BacheloretteSeason 8, “The Men Tell All,” Season 7 rose-giver Ashley wrote, "Sean looked great and handled himself like a true man. What can I say, the more America sees Sean, the more they love him!” She continues, “I'm on board with Sean for the next Bachelor. He was a guy that went on the show for honest reasons, really fell for Emily, and probably never had any intention on being the next Bachelor."
However, in Ashley's final blog of Season 8, she wrote, "Ok. I've changed my mind…Arie for the next Bachelor. I'm sure they won't have problems finding contestants!"
JP Rosenbaum for Roberto Being in love doesn’t mean sharing the same brain, so while Ashley previously supported Sean (then Arie), her fiance JP recently endorsed the Season 6 Chosen One Roberto. “I would say Roberto,” JP told HollywoodLife on August 15, when they asked about the next Bachelor. “I met him. I love him,” Bromance! Ashley added, “The ladies will love him.”
Erica Rose for Arie Erica is never shy with her opinions (put some balm on that burn, Stagliano!) and the two-time Bachelor Pad princess is definitely Team Arie. “I would prefer Arie to be the next Bachelor, because I think he is really cute and he’d be a lot more interesting and exciting to watch."
Mike Fleiss' daughter for Sean OK, so The Bachelor creator’s daughter isn’t technically a Bachelor/ette/Pad star — but she has the ear of The Boss and her dad tweeted, “My daughter thinks it should be Sean...” So if Uncle Seanie does get the gig, fans should thank the Fleissmistress.

Natalie for Roberto or Arie Back in early June, when the rumors first came out that Roberto was a done deal as the Bachelor, Bachelor Pad 1 winner Natalie Getz told RadarOnline, “I thought it would be a great pick because he is beautiful, knowing him in real life he’s so humble, he’s so sweet, he’s funny — he’s the all-around package.” She added, “We haven’t seen that in a Bachelor yet, honestly. They either have the looks or the personality but never a combination of both.”
That said, she dished that she heard producers were also interested in possibly casting Arie. In that case, she joked, she’d break up with her boyfriend to sign back on the show!
