Once Upon a Time Season 2 Teasers: Stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas on What’s to Come
If you walked away from Sunday night’s big Once Upon a Time Season 1 finale feeling a tiny bit confused, rest assured: You weren’t the only one.
In the final moments of the OUaT finale, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) bestows her son Henry (Jared Gilmore) with true love’s kiss, seeming to break the curse placed on the village of Storybrooke for good. But if the curse is truly gone, then what is everyone still doing in town? Why weren’t they all transported back to the fairy-tale world?
TVLine recently spoke with stars — and real-life couple— Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White/Mary Margaret) and Josh Dallas (Prince Charming/David), and the site raises an interesting point. It appears that the curse may only have been partially broken by Emma’s kiss.
So what does that mean for the future? Details remain slim, but Ginnifer offers a few tidbits. “We don’t know anything about what’s truly going to happen next season,” she tells TVLine, “but from what I understand, our characters will remember everything about both worlds.”
So no more memory loss for the folks of Storybrooke. But how will this knowledge of both identities affect the characters? It certainly will change things for fated lovers David and Mary Margaret.
“All of these memories come flooding back of who they are in fairy-tale land and their history there,” Josh says, “but combined with the new history that they have in Storybrooke.”
