Did Lindsay Lohan Accidentally Aid Jewelry Thieves? (UPDATE)
Update: According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan will not be prosecuted for the theft of $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses from the home of Sam Magid. Due to "insufficient evidence," LiLo is no longer a suspect.
Original story: Lindsay Lohan crossed paths with the cops after attending a late night soiree on Sunday where expensive jewelry was stolen.
TMZ reports that the starlet was questioned after the owner of the party mansion noticed a few pricey watches and sunglasses were missing from his home. By the time he called the police, who wanted to speak with all of the guests, Lindsay had already gone home.
But the party’s host believes two men who came with her are the culprits. According to sources, the actress brought her brother Cody, her assistant, and two men who are now the suspected robbers to the Hollywood Hills gathering.
When approached by the cops with questions about the missing jewelry, Lindsay reportedly asked, “Am I a suspect?” After one of the officers replied, “No,” the actress declined to answer any further questions.
As familiar as she is with legal woes, Lindsay sure knows how to work the system!
