How Will Conrad Grayson Be Affected By the Plane Crash in the Revenge Season 1 Finale?
As Florence + the Machine’s “Seven Devils” played in the background during the final seconds of Revenge's Season 1 finale, Conrad Grayson’s mistress Lydia Davis boarded a plane followed by his wife, Victoria Grayson.
We later learned that the plane exploded, seemingly killing both of Connie’s ladies. He definitely knew something big was coming when the White-Haired Man got involved.
“If you board that plane, then it’s going to be the last thing that you do,” Conrad had warned Victoria earlier in the episode.
But this plane explosion isn’t exactly a tragedy for the Grayson Global CEO. Victoria and Lydia were boarding that plane to present evidence linking him directly to Americon Initiative, the organization that funded the terrorist attack and framed Emily Thorne's father back in the '90s.
“This time next week, being Conrad Grayson might be a tricky proposition,” the White-Haired Man warned.
He might be questioned for his involvement in the plane explosion that took his lady loves, but chances are that this slippery snake will evade the police once again.
At the end of the finale, Conrad had his hands full with yet another woman — his daughter Charlotte. The pill-popping princess had just downed an entire bottle of pain medication when C-Unit found her passed out in bed.
Although Charlotte makes it out alive, she'll continue struggling with her addictions in Season 2. And even though Conrad’s not her real father, we know he’ll want to help in any way he can.
The plane crash has also left a romantic vacancy in the Grayson Heartbreak Hotel, and those rarely stay open for long.
