The short answer: YES IT DID. We'll admit that we were a bit disappointed by the "A" reveal last season, but not so with this episode.

Okay, the Maggie plotline felt a bit out of place, though it's interesting that she wants Aria (Lucy Hale) to continue to lie to Ezra (Ian Harding).

But everything else? Pretty darned amazing. Although we called that Nate was actually Maya's (Bianca Lawson) stalker, and aren't surprised that he was also her killer, we didn't expect him to go after Paige (Lindsey Shaw), and we really didn't expect Emily (Shay Mitchell) to be the one to kill him. That poor girl has been through so much!

Anyway, Nate was super creepy, and the fight scene was tense and exciting (and also beautiful. The lighting in that lighthouse was great). And poor Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) getting shot! That was another shock.

But the real OMG moment of the episode was saved for the end, when it was revealed that Mona (Janel Parrish) was working with Toby (Keegan Allen). Toby. Right after he and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) finally had sex, too.

This episode, especially the second half, was riveting, and the big reveal left us literally shaking. 5 stars!

What did you think?

Awesome episode!

I didn't love it.
