LuAnn wrote in her latestBravo blog that Ramona’s game of cat and mouse with Tomas was totally inappropriate, and her anger at LuAnn about Aviva Drescher was just an attempt to deflect the blame.
In a nutshell, Aviva approached Sonja Morgan and Ramona about their attitude toward her and hubby Reid when they arrived to St. Barts. Aviva was ticked that the girls didn’t pull out the welcome wagon for Reid after he escorted her on the trip to help her conquer her fear of flying. The argument really escalated when LuAnn called Ramonja out for conspiring to kick Reid out of the house and into a local hotel. “C’mon guys, yesterday you were asking me, ‘How are we going to tell Reid to leave?’ You were asking me to do it, c’mon,” she said. This added major fuel to Aviva’s fire and resulted in the whole “white trash” comment debacle.
LuAnn claims Ramona latched on to LuAnn's comment as a way to cover her own butt. “It was a ‘kill the messenger’ kind of moment,” she wrote. “Ramona was angry with me for speaking the truth and she was taking the focus off of herself and putting the blame on me. I wasn’t surprised that she did this and I took it in stride. The only thing that bothered me was when she entered my personal space. I will not let Ramona or anyone else intimidate me so I decided to back away from her Ramotional outburst.”
As for what happened with Tomas, well, LuAnn just thinks "it was not Ramona’s place to harass Tomas and he was our guest that evening and deserved to be treated better than he was."
At the end of the day it was Sonja — not LuAnn — whogot friendly with Tomas, and LuAnn wrote that she couldn’t care less. “I wasn’t surprised that Sonja and Tomas got together and I feel that it is none of my business what they did (or didn’t) do that night. Both of them are adults and can do whatever floats their boats.”
Good thing Ramona wasn’t able to kill the messenger (or her relationship with boyfriend Jacques) after all.
