Bones Creator Was Planning For Michael Clarke Duncan to Return on Bones

We're still in shock over the sudden passing of Michael Clarke Duncan not only was he a great guy, he was a true talent in the industry. You might remember Michael from his Hart Hanson spin-off series, The Finder, but he also had a cameo playing the same role in Bones. Sadly, The Finder was canceled, but Hart Hanson had hoped Michael would return to Bones for another guest appearance this season.

Hart planned to do a crossover episode in order to give some closure to The Finder and update fans on the characters. "We put all that on hold when he [Michael] had his heart attack in July, but we were hoping he'd be back," Hart tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Hart also hoped that MCD could get a chance to work with David Boreanaz (Agent Seeley Booth) again since they were like two peas in a pod on set. They're both team-playing, big-hearted, noisy, jock-type wonderful guys," Hart says. "We're just now coming to grips with the idea that MCD is gone. I sure hope we can think of something that would do him proud."

A crossover Finder/Bones episode that pays tribute to Michael Clarke Duncan sounds like a great idea to honor his memory. We know we'd tune in — would you? Hit the comments!
