According to E! Online, Grey’s is looking for (another) new doctor for Season 9! But this time they want a male doctor in his mid-40s who will be a “genuinely good guy.” Oh, and he’ll stick around for more than one episode.
Based on his age, we’re guessing this new character will be an attending. Could it be Teddy's (Kim Raver) replacement (AKA the new cardio god)? Or will Cristina (Sandra Oh) fill her former mentor's shoes instead?
Since this newbie is a good guy, we assume that he will quickly get a love interest of some kind. This is Seattle Grace-Mercy West after all, so it seems like he'll have to, ah, ride an elevator at some point. Is there anyone at the hospital in need of a good man? Could he put a kink in one of the current relationships?
Of course, this is all assuming that he’s even located at Seattle Grace-Mercy West. Perhaps he’s a doctor at one of the new locations.
And what exactly does it mean to call someone a “genuinely good guy?” Wouldn’t you consider most of the main male docs genuinely good, if sometimes flawed?
