Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s K. Michelle Stands By Her Claim That Memphitz Beat Her
If you thought that The Real Housewives of Atlanta had a lot of drama, then clearly you haven’t seen an episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
On the second part of the reunion earlier this week, Lil’ Scrappy proposed to girlfriend and baby mama Erica Dixon in front of his ex-girlfriend, Shay Johnson, and now another Love & Hip Hop star has come forward with a startling accusation.
K. Michelle previously claimed that Memphitz beat her during their relationship, and even though her ex has since filed a defamation lawsuit — because K. mentioned an unnamed record producer who “beat her ass” on the L&HH season premiere — she is still standing by her story.
She tells TMZ, “I stand behind my story 100%. I came on the 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' show mainly because I wanted to give a voice and bring light to a very serious issue. I am very grateful to VH1 and Monami Ent. for the opportunity to tell my story, and touch lives worldwide ... I look forward to having my day in court and finally having the truth of my story confirmed in a court of law.”
K. has also reportedly enlisted the help of attorney Matt Middleton and is prepared to fight her ex.
“Hopefully others will not have to go through this and then have their stories challenged to this degree because people now want to try to salvage whatever reputation they may have had,” she concluded.
