The Voice’s Cee Lo Green to Star in New NBC Scripted Comedy

When you’re watching Cee Lo Green stroking a white Persian cat and wearing a wig on The Voice, do you ever think, “Man, that guy needs his own sitcom?”

Well you, my friend, are in luck!

According to Deadline, the Ladykiller is set to star in a new NBC scripted family comedy loosely based on his real-life experiences with his ex-wife and stepdaughters.

Cee Lo will not only star in the currently untitled show, but he’ll also be one of the executive producers, thus furthering his entrepreneurial aspirations.

This news comes less than a week after Blake Shelton’s wife and former Voice mentor Miranda Lambert announced her plans to produce an NBC detective show based on her childhood.

Would you like to see Cee Lo’s semi-autobiographical sitcom? Tell us below!
