Demi Lovato Regrets Her Tattoos, Considers Getting Them Removed
It appears that Demi Lovato is trying to give her body art a break.
The 20-year-old pop star and new X Factor judge appeared on LIVE! With Kelly and Michael on Wednesday, where she admitted that she wishes she hadn't gotten quite so many tattoos in her teens. She pointed to a drawing of her friend's lips that graces the inside of her left forearm, calling that tattoo "a spur-of-the-moment, stupid decision." So Demi wants us to read her lips: Tattoos last a long freakin' time.
Would Demi consider going so far as to get any of her 12 tattoos removed? "I've thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don't know if I want to have 'rock and roll' on my middle finger," she explains. Then again, an old lady with "rock and roll" on her middle finger is pretty rock-and-roll.
However, Demi — whose latest hit "Give Your Heart a Break" just topped the charts — has decided to deal with that down the road. "I'm young and I can rock it now," she explains. "When I get older, I can worry about it later." Frankly, we think Demi's tats are pretty cute, but that's just us. (Any by the way, we agree with Demi that there's no sense in doing today what you can put off until tomorrow. Words to live by, people.)
Demi — who just might be dating hottie Wilmer Valderama (again!) — says she's currently loving her blonde locks and that this might be her favorite hair color for herself. She also has no fear about potentially doing a bit of verbal jousting with the ever-scary Simon Cowell when The X Factor debuts on Wednesday. "I'm a Southern girl who speaks her mind," Demi says. "If you're going to dish it, you might as well be able to take it." Consider us intrigued.
