At the Bachelor Pad 3 Finale, Michael got in the hot seat, where Chris Harrison asked him about what went down between him and Rachel — there, he opened up his true feelings about Ms. Truehart.
Michael: "Did I go on Bachelor Pad to be looking for a wife? No, because it's Bachelor Pad. To be honest, I came to have a good time...I liked Rachel immediately and we kissed, I was like 'woah.' There is chemistry there. And I thought it was a summer camp relationship... I didn't feel like there was enough to do a long term relationship...She was falling in love, and I just wasn't."
We know — poor Rachel! Girlfriend almost left The Pad (and her chance at $250K) to be with Michael, and let’s not even talk about the entire episode she spent crying in the corner with bags under her eyes. Was Rachel reading too much into the relationship or was Michael leading her on? According toJaclyn Swartz, who spoke up in defense of Rachel at the finale, Michael was the one who seemed more in to Rachel — not the other way around.
Jaclyn: "She [Rachel] told me that he called her his girlfriend...I think your relationship was complete bullshit."
What did Michael have to say in his defense? A lot of shrugged shoulders and puppy eyes.
