Once Upon a Time Season 2 Spoilers: How Does Storybrooke React to Regina?

Regina's (Lana Parrilla) revenge plan was shattered when Emma (Jennifer Morrison) broke the curse at the end of Once Upon a Time Season 1, and now one of Fairytale Land's most notorious villains is stuck in a town where everyone remember who she is — and what she did. There's a reason the Blue Fairy suggested she hide.

So what will the Storybrooke townsfolk do in Season 2 now that they know the Evil Queen is amongst them?

Lana Parrilla told Entertainment Weekly that "right after" the Storybrooke inhabitants regain their memories, "a large mob storm[s] Regina's house. They want to kill her, basically." And who can blame them? As much as we love Regina and her evil ways, we'd probably want to kill her, too, if she trapped us without happy endings.

Interestingly, the Entertainment Weekly article includes an on-set photo that shows Henry (Jared Gilmore), David (Josh Dallas), and Archie (Raphael Sbarge) sitting on Regina's steps. It looks like a promo shot, but given Lana's wording, it sounds like the shot is related to the scene with the mob. Are Henry, David, and Archie trying to protect Regina? We could actually see that — as angry as they probably are at her, those characters are really devoted to the idea of fair play. They might think mob justice isn't the way to go.

It's also worth noting that in the new promo for the season, we see Regina using magic on a crowd of people at her house. So we're guessing the mob's attack won't go quite as planned.

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
