Micheal says, “Dan’s going to need a place to crash when he returns home from Europe... Blair, meanwhile, lives in a huge apartment with plenty of spare bedrooms.” Well, that does make perfect sense, except we worry that the more time Dan spends lurking around Blair’s the less time she’ll be in the mood to make sweet Chuck love. As long as Dan doesn’t cramp Chair’s style, we supposed it’s OK.
But wait! Why can’t Dan just stay with his own family? Michael explains:”Staying at the Humphrey loft in Brooklyn will not be an option, for reasons that will become clear in the premiere.” What could possibly keep Dan from his family home? Maybe the presence of Ivy (Kaylee DeFer) wooing Rufus (Matthew Settle)? Or could the end of Rufus and Lily (Kelly Rutherford) mean that he has to liquidate the Humphrey assets by selling that prime real estate to some hipster artist with a trust fund?
We guess a crib that sweet couldn’t last forever — but we’re still hoping Chair will!
