Jessica Simpson Debuts 40-Pound Weight Loss, Reveals Her “Strip Naked” Dieting Trick

New mother Jessica Simpson showed off her 40-pound weight loss on September 10, appearing on Katie Couric’s new talk show, Katie. Afterward, she admitted to Access Hollywood that losing the baby weight hasn’t been an easy challenge.

"The very first time I got on the scale in my Weight Watchers meeting, my heart was pounding because I had no idea how much I weighed," she confesses. "I was always the girl who stood on the scale backwards because I didn't want to face it."

So what’s helped get her over the weight loss hump? "The easiest way to get motivated is to strip naked and look in the mirror," reveals Jessica. We’re kind of terrified to give this one a try — but who doesn’t want to look good naked? Great tip, Jess!
