Revenge Season 2 Spoiler: Will Charlotte Grayson Recover From Her Overdose?
In this battle for revenge, Charlotte Grayson is definitely an innocent casualty. Her family’s corrupt ways have led her down a dangerous path of popping pills and trying on Mom’s bandage dresses.
But the situation got a little too serious in the Season 1 finale when the youngest Grayson pulled a Marilyn and downed an entire bottle of pills upon learning that her mother was a goner.
It doesn’t looks like anyone’s trying to keep Charlotte’s status a secret, but we’ve all been waiting for actual confirmation. And when Wetpaint Entertainment visited the Revenge set yesterday, actress Christa Allen confirmed our suspicions.
“Yes, lovely people,” Christa Allen said. “Charlotte has survived! She’s a strong girl.”
When the show picks up eight weeks after the incident in the Season 2 opener, Charlotte’s alive, but a little worse for the wear.
“I will say, when we find Charlotte, in the opening of Episode 1 of Season 2, the addiction is still involved in some way and affecting her,” actress Christa Allen told Access Hollywood. “That’s all I’ll say, that that could mean anything.”
Way to vague that up for us, Chrissy.
She’s right — that could mean anything. It could mean that Charlotte’s brain damaged, physically disabled, emotionally impaired, or that she’s recovered but still using.
Could Charlotte be the next Emily Thorne? It’s definitely a possibility.
“I think with the amount of harm that’s been done to Charlotte, now’s about the time she should start getting revenge,” Christa teased.
But will our girl turn her life around or take a turn for the worse?
“I believe that Charlotte is on an upturn and will start to figure it out more, but I feel that she’s going to battle more in this season,” Christa said. “She’s going to have more obstacles to come up against.”
