Tristan MacManus Shares Pamela Anderson’s Biggest Struggle on DWTS All-Stars
They may have mad sex appeal and a loyal fan base already behind them, but Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus also have their gloves up, ready to take on a whole host of foes on Dancing With the Stars Season 15 All-Stars.
It’s strange to think of them as fighters, since it would be hard to pick out two sweeter-seeming people than Tris and Pam, but we know they are definitely All-Stars underdogs. Pamela and Sabrina Bryan are the only two non-finalists on the show — and Sabrina was voted in by the fans. Pamela was chosen by producers. Some DWTS viewers aren’t pleased about that and, in his new Q&A with MacManiacs.org, Tristan hinted to overcoming hater drama:
What I always always get from Pam though is total and utter commitment and attention but also entertainment,” Tristan said. “We are fighting not just against finalists and champions but also against a large unforgiving population that no matter what she does will have a negative attitude towards her, so to have the strength of character she has to want to better herself is very inspiring to me not just as a dancer and teacher but as a person.
Tristan added that he and Pam plan to work as hard, if not harder, than the other dancers “without playing ‘the games’ that go along with a lot of this stuff.”
Good. We’re here for the dancing — and their cute chemistry together — not the games. Still, we’re glad Tristan at least stepped out of his comfort zone a bit to join Twitter, which is often seem as a useful tool to connect with DWTS fans/voters. And we know he’s well loved in and out of the ballroom, with Mark Ballas recently naming him his #1 pro choice to dance with Bristol Palin, after himself, because Tristan is such a patient gentleman.
