Who Is Liz Davis — the Winner of P. Diddy’s Starmaker — From The Voice Season 3?
When country gal Liz Davis walked her cowboy boots onto The Voicestage, it wasn’t her first time at the rodeo. In fact, it wasn’t even her first time on a reality singing competition!
The 25-year-old singer from Madison, Miss. was a contestant on P. Diddy’s Starmaker on MTV in 2009. At the time, Liz was just 21 and the sole country singer in the competition.
Spoiler alert: she won the entire thing and was signed to P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records! But soon after, the singer gave up her record deal to pursue the country music scene in Nashville.
Considering the seasoned singer auditioned for The Voice, we can only assume that things haven’t gone exactly as she’d planned since her last reality show.
Her blind audition of "Here for the Party" by Gretchen Wilson inspired Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Christina Aguilera to turn and fight for her. But, naturally, country crooner Blake Shelton was the winner!
