Jacob tells The Hollywood Reporterthat the two McKinley newbies “connect on a lot of levels.” Care to elaborate, Jacob? “There may potentially be some romance,” Jacob says. However, he warns that “McKinley is definitely a tough place to have a relationship.” This we know is true, given all of those looming break-up rumors facing a number of couples.
So when can we expect Jake and Marley to spark up a romance? Jacob is equally coy with that question, only responding that “it’ll be in due course.” Way to be specific, buddy.
As for Rachel (Lea Michele) and Brody (Dean Geyer), Brody himself has quite a sordid romantic history, and for some reason Cassandra (Kate Hudson) knows all about it. Interesting. Does this mean something has happened between Cassandra and Brody? All Kate would say is, “Well, wouldn't that be fun?” Actually, we wouldn’t describe that as “fun” but more as “mind-blowingly insane.”
Meanwhile, Lea says that, while Brody will be waiting for Rachel to figure things out with Finn (Cory Monteith), something happens involving Rachel “that is shocking!” But sadly, she wouldn’t say what it is that is so shocking. C’mon, Lea — you can’t leave us hanging like this! We need more info!
In other relationship news, Artie (Kevin McHale) and Sugar (Vanessa Lengies) will be heating things back up (go, Artie!). Plus, Sam and his ex Quinn (Dianna Agron) will get back in touch, but Chord wouldn’t specify exactly why they’re reconnecting. “There's a very possible chance of everything,” is all Chord would say. That doesn’t exactly sound like very solid proof of a Fabrevans hookup to us.
Speaking of Sam, it sounds like the cutie won’t be acting this time around in McKinley’s upcoming musical — which is likely to be Grease — but will instead take a producing role. And we’ll also see Sam helping Brittany (Heather Morris) through some tough times in the near future. Sounds like Sam is gonna be mighty busy.
And Kitty’s (Becca Tobin) unpleasant personality won’t keep her from finding plenty of interested suitors, according to Becca. “Like any popular girl in high school, she's going to cycle her way through the men,” she says. We’re thinking that Sue (Jane Lynch)would be proud.
